Lyca’s Gnanam Foundation has embarked on an ambitious project in order to better the lives of those in Sri Lanka. We have called this the livelihood project and aim to help many disadvantaged individuals out of their plight provide them sustainable skills for a better future. We will be providing educational assistance to school children and college students, livelihood assistance to families that require urgent help, and skills and course training for those individuals who can benefit and increase their skills set.

Throughout Sri Lanka, we have opened 10 offices in the districts of Mullaithivue, Kilinochchi, Jaffna, Vavuniya, Trincomalee, Mannar, Batticaloa, Ampara, Polannaruwa and Gampaha. We plan to operate from these offices, in order to identify local beneficiaries that require assistance from Lyca’s Gnanam Foundation.

Our Chairman together with his mother, Co-Founder of Lyca's Gnanam Foundation Mrs.Prema Subaskaran and others representing the foundation visited Sri Lanka in order to open the offices and offer their blessings. They were very proud to see the willing and enthusiastic volunteers that will carry the work on behalf of the foundation.

The founders of Lyca’s Gnanam Foundation have been exceedingly generous and whilst in Sri Lanka, they gave away 2000 bicycles, 2000 Sewing machines, School bags, wheelchairs, Writing instruments and school Uniforms. The children and adults that received the items were enamoured with the help and love that came from Lyca’s Gnanam Foundation and will forever be grateful for all the support. This is only the beginning however, there is a lot more bicycles sewing machines etc to come as time progresses.

We are very pleased with the opening of the offices and look forward to touching the lives of thousands of individuals.
