Gnanam Foundation co-founder Gnanambikai Allirajah is the 4th G.O.D Awards ‘Global Woman of the Year’

In recognition of the immense contribution made to society through the humanitarian work carried-out by the Gnanam Foundation which she co-founded in the year 2010, Philanthropist Ms. Gnanambikai Allirajah is due to be conferred with the title of ‘Global Woman of the Year’ at the 4th Annual G.O.D (Global Officials of Dignity) Awards, 2016.
The announcement was made by Founder and President of We Care for Humanity (WCH), Princess Maria Amor. The G.O.D Awards is the brainchild of Her Highness, and this year, will see its fourth edition. Speaking at the unveiling of this year’s honourees, the Princess had this to say “We couldn’t be happier giving the Global Woman of the Year Award to Mrs. Allirajah whose philanthropic heart brought so much support to the orphans, the elderly and those who have been abandoned without care, through her foundation”.
Ms. Allirajah will be honoured at the glittering awards ceremony which will take place on the 19th of August 2016 at the United Nations headquarters in New York. She is also scheduled to speak at the 3rd WCH Humanitarian Summit which will be held from August 17th – 19th at the same venue.
